With the input from our members and the oversight of the administrative team, the following objectives are set for 2009.

  • Mentorship and Training

The administrative team is hard at work developing its mentorship program and training modules. The objective is to offer all members the opportunity to mentor under one of our coordinators and complete various training modules at low or no cost.  The following modules are slated for development:

  1. Introduction to Nations For Change
  2. Working Your Government System: Where Should You Start?
  3. Communications: Different Styles For Different Audiences
  4. Presentations: Making Your Case
  5. Event Planning: The Fundamental Elements
  6. Fundraising: What To Know And How To Do It
  7. Press Materials: Building Effective Organizational Tools
  8. Legal Issues: How To Avoid Pitfalls
  • Get Out The Vote

In January 2009, President Obama will outline his agenda for the coming year. As his initiatives are announced, Nations For Change will focus on the issues we believe warrant attention and embark on two campaigns:

  1. Public Education on the issues
  2. Securing the votes in support of NFC's collective voice from our elected officials.
