Nations For Change started in March 2008 by three volunteers working on the Barack Obama presidential campaign. Inspired by Obama's messages of hope, change, and the simple notion of "yes we can", they had witnessed ordinary people accomplishing extraordinary things.

Today, we are thousands of dedicated individuals commited to the call for community action and community service. We are not representatives of any political party. We do not exist for the benefit of any political candidate. We are not a political action committee and we do not fundraise on behalf of any candidate.

Instead, we offer free or low cost community activist leadership and development training and promote a progressive agenda based on the concerns of our membership so that we may all continue to walk the path of "Change".
